You need to try this insanely good chocolate cake recipe – it’s packed with 12g of protein, less than 5g of sugar and is also gluten free! 

Chocolate Cake – High Protein, Sugar Free & Gluten Free

Ingredients:

1 whole egg

50 g of Monk Fruit (sweetener)

28 g of Unsalted butter 

25 g of Almond flour

15 g of Oat flour

6 g of Cocoa powder 

1.5 g of Baking powder

A pinch of salt

For the Ganache:

50 g of good quality chocolate (I’ve used Callebaut here)

25 g of fresh cream

5 g of Unsalted butter 

Method:

Mix egg with monk fruit until dissolved, then add dry ingredients and melted butter. Pour into a lined 3.5″ ring and bake at 180°C for ~20 mins. Cool, slice, and layer with ganache (warm cream + melted chocolate + butter). Dust with cocoa, top with fruit—I used a cherry.
